The Outside Office specialises in medical transcription and is experienced and well trained, typing for a number of different medical modalities, including:

Please note that The Outside Office welcomes general transcription, however, only single voice dictation.If you require interviews to be transcribed, please email for recommendation to other transcribing businesses who maybe able to help you.

The Outside Office performs medical typing both during and after normal business operating hours, completing work 48 hours after receiving dictation from clients.The Outside Office does aim to get work completed in as little as 24 hour turnaround period.

Utilising Express Scribe playback software, The Outside Office has the capability to transcribe a large variety of digital files including, CDs, Mp3, MSV, wav, wma, dss files and more.

If you send your dictation via email, it will then be transcribed into a Word Document in a format that is suited to your practice and then sent back to your email address within 48 hours.

The following rates are available:

$25.00 per hour of transcription.

$1.65 per audio (recorded) minute

Please note:Audio minute rate is only available for transcription into a Word document (providing it is clear audio).If The Outside Office is required to remotely access via VPN and use a specialised medical software, such as Medilink and Genie, then the per hour rate will apply.
